CCI does not issue sealed conformity certificates through personal WeChat or private email accounts. We write only from @cci-china.cc addresses. If a document or a message claims to come from us and does not, treat it as fraudulent and tell us.
Our emails come only from the domain cci-china.cc. A message from any other domain is not from us, however similar the name looks.
Your first email
Five things that let us quote you properly.
- The commodity — what the goods are.
- The destination country.
- The number of containers.
- The loading window — when the container is due to be loaded.
- Who the principal is — the party that will commission the inspection and receive the report.
If you do not have all five, write anyway. We will ask for what is missing before we attend, rather than assume it. Enquiries are acknowledged within 4 working hours.

- Quoted per job and confirmed in writing. Not published, because they depend on the job. Acknowledgement within 4 working hours; quotation within 8.
- Booking
- Nothing is booked until you have the written confirmation.
- Criteria
- Required before the inspection. We do not supply them, and we do not guess them.

Things we are not able to help with.
It saves you time if we say this up front rather than after you have explained the job.
Certification and approval
We do not issue certificates of conformity, approve suppliers, or certify products for any market. If what you need is a certificate, you need a certification body, not an inspector.
Laboratory analysis
Residues, microbiology, composition and similar questions are answered in a laboratory, not on site. We will say so rather than approximate.
Customs and clearance
We do not act as a customs broker, and we do not guarantee that goods will clear any border.
Shipping and insurance
We do not arrange freight, and we do not act for carriers or insurers. We inspect; we do not carry.
